Nintendo has announced that their upcoming Wii Zapper will come packaged with Link's Crossbow Training, a Legend of Zelda mini-game demonstrating the potential uses of the Zapper. Link's Crossbow Training will "[drop] players into a world in the style of The Legend of Zeldaź: Twilight Princess. Players assume the identity of hero Link, who progresses through a series of tests to perfect his crossbow marksmanship. Start with stationary bull's-eyes and graduate to moving targets before defending Link against all kinds of enemies."

The Wii Zapper is expected to launch November 19 of this year.

Think you're a Zelda guru? Love Nintendo games and merchandise? If you've answered yes to these questions, then Nintendo is holding a contest that you might be interested in!

The contest consists of correctly answering three Zelda-related questions. This enters you into a draw to win a trip for two to the Nintendo World Store for a closed-door, 1000 dollar shopping spree; a special-edition DS; and a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

You can enter the contest in one of two ways. First, you can text the world Zelda to 20769 and correctly answer the questions. Secondly, you can answer the questions and send them in via the mail to:

Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Contest
P.O. Box 71377
Los Angeles, CA
90071-9997

The three questions are as follows:

Question 1: The Zelda series' heroic main character ranks as one of Nintendo's most popular characters. What is his name?

Question 2: Name the pretty pirate captain Link seeks to rescue in Phantom Hourglass.

Question 3: In the Legend of Zelda series, what powerful relic is made up of three golden triangles?

Okay, so maybe you don't need to be a Zelda guru to answer these questions correctly, but the contest is still pretty cool.

*Note: This contest is only open to residents of the United States.
