Zelda Infinite

What's all this now? An actual update? It hasn't been almost a year you say? Well, that's because I've got some good new folks!

Today at the Game Developer's Conference, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced their newest Zelda title, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Not much is known about the game so far. What we do know, is that the game continues the trend from Phantom Hourglass and Wind Waker and is going to be using the cartoon styled graphics of those earlier titles. Additionally, Link will again be controlled by the stylus as he was in PH. This time, though, players will also be able to control an armoured character, who seems to be a sidekick of some sort to Link. As the title of the game would seem to indicate, a train will play a role in the game. One early screen shot shows Link travelling across the land by riding on a train.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the game is expected to release sometime in 2009!
