I don't know if Manga Friday is gonna work out this week. It's already halfway through Friday, and I've been busy so far all day, and will continue to be so for the rest of the evening, probably.

However, the good news is that I'm on spring break now. So even if Manga Friday doesn't work out, that doesn't mean that there won't be a Manga Saturday or a Manga Monday or something.

Sorry for the delay. But, fear not - I'll still get the chapter out. See you then.

The final chapter of Oracle of Seasons is up. Aaah, it's such a great feeling to finish a book!

So... Looks like the majority of you want me to do Minish Cap next. I was concerned because I cheaped out on the shipping costs and hadn't yet received my copy of the book, but it was finally dropped into my mailbox earlier today, so we're all set. I hope to get started this Friday.

For those of you that voted for me to do Oracle of Ages first, fear not. It looks like the Minish Cap manga is only six chapters long. Of course, the length of the book is the same as the rest of them - the six chapters are longer than normal. So, while it'll take a lot of work, I may still be able to stick to the Manga Friday schedule and finish the book in as little as six weeks. Maybe closer to eight weeks. We'll see.
Summary: Don't worry! You'll see OoA soon.

Thanks for voting, everyone. It was good to have input. See you Friday.

It took eight hours, three movies, and two cans of Coke, but Chapter 1 of the Minish Cap manga is ready for reading!

Recently, in an interview with Nintendo-Europe, Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will indeed feature some exclusive Revolution functionality. He did not go into specifics, but at least his confirmation will finally put to rest all the debates about this topic.

Miyamoto was interviewed while in France, where he was honoured for his work in the video games industry by being made an official French-Knight.

It's not a good week for me. A cold descended upon me around Tuesday and I haven't been able to concentrate on anything since then, due to being on medication almost constantly. No manga today. I promise that I will try to get it done sometime this weekend, but I can't guarantee it. If I can't, we'll just plan for next Friday.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Nintendo's worldwide President, Satoru Iwata, has announced that the title of the Zelda game being developed for the DS is The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Apparently, the top screen shows maps, while the bottom screen has the action. The player is able to draw things on the bottom screen. I'm not exactly sure what that does, but there was a trailer shown, so hopefully I can get you a link for it soon. The game is supposed to release this year.

More on PH as it becomes available.

UPDATE: I've just found the PH trailer on Nintendo's website. You can watch it here. The game will feature cel-shaded graphics similar to those in WW. The drawing portions I mentioned earlier have to do with solving puzzles, and it looks very interesting. I strongly suggest watching the video, as it looks very cool.

And the Games page for The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is up. It's pretty barren, as we don't have much info yet, but I'll be sure to add onto it as soon as Nintendo releases more information.

Hey all,

I recently received a press release from Alex Davis, the director of First 4 Figurines. First 4 Figurines plans on releasing Legend of Zelda themed statues, so Alex forwarded me the following press release announcing their agreement with Nintendo to do just that.

Instead of posting the entire press release here, I've just linked to the version on the First 4 Figurines website.
Contact: Alex Davis, 00(44)208-446-3865,

I don't know about all of you, but I think these figurines look pretty darn cool!

Alex would appreciate any feedback, so if you've got any thoughts on this, please post them in the topic for this update in the ZI forums. Just click the link below this update. Also, head to the First 4 Figurines website to vote on whether on not you would like to see a Skull Kid figurine.

Chapter 2 of Minish Cap is done. Sorry I couldn't get it out last week.

Good heavens, these chapters are long. I'm exhausted. X_x

Edit: There was a really stupid typo on page 29. I've fixed it.

Hey, again. Bad news.
I don't think I'll be able to do the manga this week. I've just got too much going on and can't sacrifice an entire Friday for it. Things just aren't very good for me right now.

I'm sorry I have to keep delaying chapters like this. I would love to keep doing them once a week, but Minish Cap, with it's really long chapters, is proving difficult. Were this the length of a chapter from any of the other books I've done so far, it'd be easier to keep the Manga Friday schedule. But since MC is the way it is, some weeks I just can't do it. -_-

But, to make it up to you, all manga chapters I've released so far are now available as downloadable RAR packages.

Secondly... if you haven't heard about the Zelda Roundtable that The Hylia is organizing, you should check it out. I'll be participating.

Surprise! Chapter 3 of Minish Cap is ready!

Some stuff in my schedule got rearranged so that I had some free time last night and most of today, so I was able to get the chapter done.

Oh, and also, here's something cool. Our wonderful Draknek has completely revamped our manga reading system. It's a lot easier to navigate, and the RAR packages are readily available along with the normal page-by-page viewing system, so whatever you prefer, it's easier to get to.
Thanks, D! We love you! ^_~
