Hey there fellow Zelda lovers. Got a bit of Minish Cap info to pass along.

The new talking, green hat that helps guide Link on his way is named Ezlo. Link comes into possession of his new partner when he saves it from a group of attacking Octoroks.

With the help of his new friend and hat, Link is able to shrink down to the size of the Minish people who claim that they know how to lift a curse that has been placed upon Princess Zelda.

Some of the new items which will play a role in the next Zelda adventure are the Mole Mitts, and the Gust Jar. The Mole Mitts can be used to to dig, somewhat like the shovel in previous Zelda games, while the Gust Jar is somewhat similar to the Deku Leaf introduced in WW. The Gust Jar will also act as a vaccum in addiction to a fan.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is set to release next month in the UK, and in mid-January for North America.

That's it for now, we'll be bringing you more info on this game as it becomes available.

UPDATE: The aformentioned article actaully doesn't say much more than it's description, however, it was apparently stated by Nintendo, that if you were planning on importing the UK version of the game, you may want to hold off until the North American version ships, as it has "more". What more it has was not said, but it sounds interesting, and something those of you thinking of importing the game should keep in mind.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

I've recently stumbled across an interesting peice of information while browsing the news updates over at IGN.com. On the GameBoy Advance page, you can see a criptic note about the US version of Minish Cap haveing "more". Intrigued, I quickly clicked on the link only to find that it led nowhere. What could this mean? Does the North American version of Minish Cap have some extras added that the other versions don't? Or is it just someone's idea of a joke? We'll keep you informed.
