Forsaken Fortress (A-1) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Up near the jail cell where you are taken when you are caught by the guards, there is switch hidden amongst a group of barrels. Step on the switch to make a chest appear with a Heart Piece inside.

Star Island (B-1) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Bomb the large bolder and drop into the hole that is revealed. Defeat all the enemies in the cave to receive a Piece of Heart.

Crescent Moon Island (E-1) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Use the Treasure chart found in Dragon Roost Cavern (treasure chart 11) to find this sunken treasure.

Seven-Star Isles (F-1) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Look around using your telescope until you spot a flock of seagulls out over the water. Head towards these birds and a Big Octo should appear. Hit the monster in the eyes using your boomerang (you can also use your cannon or arrows, but it is quite difficult to hit the monster this way). Once you kill the beast. Sail over to where he sank and lower your grappling hook to bring up a chest containing a Piece of Heart.

Spectacle Island (G-1) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Play Salvatore's cannon game and take out five ships in ten shots or less.

Windfall Island (D-2) - 9 Pieces of Heart

• Play Salvatore's other mini game in his shop on Windfall Island. This is a very hard game to win. Just get a whole lot of money and hope you get lucky.
• Play hide and seek with the Killer Bees after their Teacher asks you for help in dealing with them. If you can find all four you get a Piece of Heart. One is behind the stone monument near the dancing guy. One is behind the bomb shop. One is up in the tree outside the Windfall Island gate, and the last is hiding behind a bush by the wall, which has an opening, which leads out onto the top of the main gate.
• After several auctions, a Piece of Heart will be put up for auction. When bidding make large bids to stun the other people so that they cannot bid.
• Take pictograph of the woman in the orange dress and then give it to the man who likes to walk. After several days they will get together and as thanks they will give you a Piece of Heart.
• Agree to become Zunari's employee and begin trading with the Goron merchants found on Mother & Child Isles, Bomb Island and Greatfish Isle. Take the Town Flower Zunari gives you and trade it to the Goron on Greatfish Isle for a Sea Flower. Then trade that item back to the same Goron to receive the Exotic Flower. Take this item to Bomb Island and trade it for the Sickle Moon Flag. Trade this item back to the same Goron for the Fountain Idol and then take it to Mother & Child Isles to get the Big Sale Flag. Take this flag to Greatfish Isle to receive the Hero's Flag. Trade this flag back to the game Goron to receive the Postman Statue. Take this item to Mother & Child Isles to get the Shop Guru Statue which you then take to Greatfish Isle to receive a Piece of Heart. As a bonus, you will also receive Magic Armour from Zunari after trading the Sickle Moon Flag.
• After completing the Forsaken Fortress for the second time, talk to Maggie, the daughter of the poor man who begged you to find her. They will now live upstairs in the auction house, as they have become very wealthy. Maggie will ask you to mail a letter for her. After a while, go back to the action house and you will see Maggie's father arguing with the postman. Go find the postman in the Café and he will give you a letter from Maggie's love. Take the letter to Maggie for another Piece of Heart.
• Make the wind blow south, and climb the ladder at the back of the lighthouse. Press the switch found at the top and the Ferris wheel will begin to spin. Ride the Ferris wheel to the top and light the lighthouse become with a fire arrow. Now go talk to the man standing outside the door on the second floor of Salvatore's shop. He will have a Heart Piece for you.
• Once the lighthouse is lit, the invisible chest on the small island near the bomb shop will become solid. Use the Deku leaf to float over and get a Piece of Heart.
• Place a flag or a flower, which you can buy from Zunari, in all of the fourteen little pedestals found outside. Then talk to the man who sits on the bench near the entrance to the café for a Piece of Heart.

Pawprint Isle (E-2) - 2 Pieces of Heart

• Enter the blue dome via the small hole in its side. Then drop down the hole and look around until you find a treasure chest containing a Heart Piece.
• Use treasure chart 30 to fish another Heart Piece out of the ocean's depths. This chart is found in the Tower of the Gods.

Dragon Roost Island (F-2) - 2 Pieces of Heart

• Talk to the mail sorter on the second floor of the large central cave. If you get 25 or more letters sorted, you will be hired on as a mail sorter. Later come back and talk to the new assistant. Get 25 letters or more sorted and he will give you a letter to mail. Several days after you mail the letter you will get a Piece of Heart in the mail.
• Collect 20 Golden Feathers (this is easy to do if you use the Grappling Hook to take them from Kargoroks (big colourful birds)) and take them to the Rito guarding the Chieftain's room. After a few days you will get a Heart Piece in the mail.

Flight Control Platform (G-2) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Once you have doubled your magic, play the flying game. Use the updrafts to give you more distance. Once you manage to make it past the goal, you will get a Heart Piece as a reward.

Rock Spire Isle (C-3) - 3 Pieces of Heart

• After getting the first Rupee bag upgrade, go to the Beedle shop in this area. It is a special shop, which sells, among other great things, a Piece of Heart for 950 Rupees.
• If you have gotten the bombs, use your cannon to take out the two warships in the area. Once you have defeated them, use your Grappling hook to bring up Piece of Heart from the wreckage of one of the ships.
• Get treasure chart 2 from the poor man after he has become rich by giving him 20 skull necklaces. This will reveal a Heart Piece off the coast of Rock Spire Isle.

Tingle Island (D-3) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Look for a large group of seagulls out over the water and sail towards them. A huge Octo should appear. Defeat it with the boomerang, bombs, or arrows, and use your Grappling hook to pull up a heart piece from where the beast fell.

Three-Eye Reef (A-4) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Get treasure chart 38 at the auction to lead you to this Piece of Heart.

Greatfish Isle (B-4) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Sail to the little island that has a path spiralling up around it. Once at the top, make the wind blow northwest and use your Deku leaf to float over to a small cave on a large piece of the island near the Goron merchant's raft. There is a chest with a Heart Piece inside.

Six-Eye Reef (D-4) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Head to a submarine south west of the reef and collect the Heart Piece after you defeat all the enemies.

Thorned Fairy Island (G-4) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Get treasure chart 5 from the Wind Temple then come and pull up this Piece of Heart.

Needle Rock Isle (A-5) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Take control of a seagull using a Hyoi Pear to hit a switch up on top of the island. Once the flames around the chest are gone you can claim your next Piece of Heart.

Stone Watcher Island (C-5) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Sail to the platform directly east of the island and take out all the cannons with your own cannon, as well as any enemies. Once this is done, a chest containing a Heart Piece will appear.

Bomb Island (F-5) - 2 Pieces of Heart

• Bomb the large rock to reveal a hole underneath. Make your way through this mini dungeon to claim a Heart Piece. (Note: You can use curled up Magtails to press switches by throwing them onto them)
• Use treasure chart 20, found in the Earth Temple, to find this sunken treasure.

Diamond Steppe Island (A-6) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Score a 19 or less in Salvatore's mini-game on Windfall Island to get treasure chart 23. This chart will lead you to the waters off the coast of Diamond Steppe.

Southern Fairy Island (C-6) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Buy treasure chart 4 from Beedle's special shop off the coast of Rock Spire Island, and let yourself be led here to find yet another treasure in the form of a Heart.

Forest Haven (F-6) - 3 Pieces of Heart

• After you find the Forbidden Woods, you will get a Heart Piece in the mail, courtesy of the Rito Chieftain.
• Get some Forest Water in a bottle and go sprinkle it on the dying trees that the Korok's have planted. You have 20 minutes to do all 8 trees. If you are successful, you will get a Heart Piece.
• Get treasure chart 31 by taking a picture of the full moon with the Deluxe Picto Box and giving it to the guy whom sits on the steps on Windfall Island. The chart leads you here for another Heart Piece.

Outset Island (B-7) - 3 Pieces of Heart

• After getting double magic, the Power Bracelet and the Mirror Shield, head up the path on Outset Island towards the place where your sister is kidnapped by bird. Climb up on the rock above the bridge. Make the wind blow west, and use your Deku Leaf to float over to a place above your Grandma's house. Pick up the big head and then drop down all the holes, fighting all the enemies along the way. Once you get the place where there is a Triforce chart, use your Mirror Shield to get rid of a statue covering a hole. Once it is gone, continue dropping down holes and fighting enemies until you get to a Heart Piece. This is quite difficult, as there are many enemies, so come prepared with fairies, Grandma's soup, or red/blue potions.
• After you have the Power Bracelet, go lift up the huge pig in your neighbours pigpen. Take him to patches of black earth and get him to dig by dropping All-Purpose Bait. One of the patches has a Heart Piece.
• Duel with Orca after he gives you the sword. If you can hit him 500 times, taking less than three hits yourself, he will reward you with a Heart Piece.

Headstone Island (C-7) - 1 Piece of Heart

• Use a Hyoi Pear to summon a seagull. Once you are in control, fly to the top of the island and fly through the Heart Piece sitting there to collect it.

Angular Isles (E-7) - 2 Pieces of Heart

• Climb to the top of this island to find a Heart Piece.
• Collect treasure chart 15 from the Forbidden Woods to find this hidden treasure.

Five-Star Isles (G-7) - 2 Pieces of Heart

• Sail to the submarine in this sector. Defeat all the enemies to claim a Piece of Heart.
• Take a picture of the woman on Windfall, who stands near the sign, who thinks she is very pretty, using the Deluxe Picto Box. She will give you treasure chart 33 which will lead you to the final Piece of Heart.
