In this upcoming adventure for the Wii console, Link is a young man living in the land of Skyloft, high in the clouds above Hyrule. One day, he makes a fateful discovery of the land below, and the evils that lurk amongst it. With a powerful, living blade known as the Skyward Sword, Link will (for one reason or another) take it upon himself to purge the land of its evils.

This title is the first in the series to take full advantage of the Wii MotionPlus hardware. For example, instead of simple jerking motions to swing the sword, all combat is now 1:1, meaning wherever your arm moves, Link's sword follows in near perfect fluid motion. The game is expected to be released sometime within the first half of 2011, though possibly later.
