Spirit Tracks is the second Zelda title for the Nintendo DS. Set at least one century after Phantom Hourglass, we meet a new Link, a Royal Engineer in training, prepared to receive his certificate by Princess Zelda herself! Unbeknownst to all, Zelda slips a message to Link to meet her later. There she explains:

Long ago, the Demon King rose to power, and war broke out. He was finally sealed away by the ancient Lokomo tribe, with what are now called the Spirit Tracks. At their center: the Spirit Tower.

Now, his seal is weakening, and Zelda decides it's up to she and Link to save the world. They are soon stopped by Chancellor Cole, who attacks Zelda, and taking her life. Well, her body, at least, destroying the Spirit Tower in the process. And so, Link and Zelda begin their adventure to rebuild the Spirit Tower, and find Zelda's body!
