Prologue:
“Link,wake up!”came a voice as soft as feathers. It was Zelda.
“What...?” one thing Link,The Hero Of Time, hated and there were a LOT of things, was being woken up.
“I said get up!
“Why.......” Link shook all over as he got out of bed. It was late morning and warm enough. But as he looked outside he could see that it was clouding over quickly. (So much for a nice sunny day to go fishing,he thought.) And a cold,cold wind had begun to blow through the window.
*knock knock*
“Link!” Zelda's voice cut him from his near sleep.
“Can you get the door? Zelda asked,'' I have to feed the baby.”
Link went and pulled on his clothes and strapped on his sword.
“Sure.” Link walked over to the door. He heard rustling. He didn't like it. But he dismissed the idea.
“Link the royal guards are looking for you.” said an unfamiliar voice. Link was really getting worried now. As soon as he pulled open the door a man yelled,”Get Him!” Link immediately recognized this voice as Ganondorf's, but by then it was to late. He tried to close the door but in return received a dagger the color of twilight in his arm. However, he managed to shut the door and immediately fell to the floor.
“Link,Link!Are you OK?”
“I think so....ow..” replied Link,''But I feel strange though.
“Was that man Ganondorf?”asked Zelda warily.
“Yes,but Zel,I feel so strange...I feel how I felt when i put on the Fierce Deity mask to fight Majora....only not wanting more power...
“We have to get out of here,NOW!”
“But I'm not sure that we will be able to outrun him. He probably has his horse.”said Link
“We could use the horses”.countered Zelda
“I guess that's our only option”.
Then Zelda grabbed Link's good arm and the baby. Then they leapt out the window into the mote.
Link called his horse and Zelda called her's. Link helped Zelda and the baby get on their horse. He then mounted Epona,his horse.
Ganondorf called to dark Link to listen to his plan of attack. “First,he said, You chase Zelda until Link attacks you,second i will join and you back out,alright? We will not kill him,I want him to suffer...most importantly when I give the signal we will both leave...GOT IT?!”
“Yes,sir,Evil Lord Ganondorf,sir!”replied Dark Link. Now he would finally have revenge for all those losses.
Ganondorf stayed behind whilst Dark Link chased after Zelda. Dark Link shot an arrow at Zelda and it narrowly missed. Link was outraged,he charged Dark Link and knocked him off his horse. Dark Link decided he was too weak to fight and warped away.
“Zelda!You have to go to Ordon Village. Bo will help you look after our son,Ryan.”
“No I will not leave you to die!”
“I will be fine,I promise!”
“Oh,OK but don't do anything stupid!”
“Go!”
As their hands slipped apart Ganondorf joined the battle. Link rode Epona well but Ganon was as persistant as ever which gave him trouble. Link decided,after he had taken several blows to the shoulders and sides,to flee. As he gave a last effort to escape Ganondorf knocked him off his horse and punched him between the eyes to knock him out. Ganondorf,satisfied with his victory galloped away.
Chapter 1 Transformation Of Life
“Hey Ryan wake up! You have to herd the goats this mornin' they ain't listnin' to a word I say!”cried Fado,the ranch hand.
OK Fado, I'm comin'!Ryan rushed downstairs with his Ordon outfit.
Hey, Ryan where's Twilight? You need her to herd the goats!”
Maybe Ilia has her, I'll go have a look.”said Ryan
Well hurry up,I'm getting' hungry!Cried Fado in fake despair,his stomach growling.
OK,OK,OK, I'm goin'!
When Ryan arrive at the Ordona spring sure enough Ilia was there.
“Oh, Hey Ryan. You want Twilight right? Well I washed her for you .”said Ilia
“Thank you,Ilia,Can I take her now?”he replied gently
“Yes,but can you play the song that she likes on this reed I made for you?”
“Sure.”replied Ryan
...
Ryan hopped on Twilight and went off to Ordon Ranch.
“Bout time you got here, Ryan!Said Fado angrily,but then he laughed.
Ya whatever,but you should be happy i'm doin' it for you,its my day off tomorrow!
OK,OK,I get the message. Do you think you can set a new herdin' record today?”demanded Fado.
I WILL!scoffed Ryan in his five year old way. Then he added,And if I don't then I'll...hmm....what will I do?”he joked.”I know! I'll make that poutty face that you hate...ha-ha.”
After the goats had been herded Ryan returned to the village.
He went straight to bed.
In the morning he realized that it was his DAY OFF!!!
“YES”Ryan cried!That's when he heard it,the noise that changed everything. He heard screaming so he ran to investigate. First he saw Ilia,then he noticed one other man with a weird headset. Ryan's first reaction was to attack him. But something held him back. Then he noticed something else. It definitely wasn't human. It was a wolf,and it look like the one he had read about in Malo and Talo's storybook on Hyrule's Legends,his favorite was the the story about The Hero Of Time and how he had come to save all of Hyrule. This definitely looked like the Golden Wolf. The great Beast spread its massive wings and flew down to the man with the strange headset. Suddenly it lowered its head and morphed into a man with a cape. But this was no ordinary cape its hood was golden but then it changed to silver, and then back again. As was with the lower part. It all changed at the same time,in perfect sync. The man with headset raised a hand and a huge blade with ancient symbols in which Link could not decipher appeared. Of what was visible of the man with cape's face seemed to smile. And he too drew a sword. This sword looked vaguely familiar to Ryan but he could not get a good look at the blade or the handle. They stood there in complete silence for a few minutes. They both obviously knew a lot about fighting,and each wanted the other to strike,or at least try,first. But the man with headset grew impatient and forgot what he wanted. He charged. The hooded man jumped and brought his blade down on the headset man's shoulder. They continued like this for several minutes,exchanging blows,until the headset man finally gave up and disappeared. The hooded man stuck a bloody hand up to his head and wiped the sweat from his brow,or at least Ryan thought that's what he did. The caped man decomposed as soon as he could and was gone. Suddenly through the gate burst three boars. The boars had already caught Beth,Talo,Malo and Colin and now they were after Ryan and Ilia. Ryan stood to try to defend Ilia and himself. Suddenly a sharp pain skyrocketed up his neck and through his head,then everything faded away.
Chapter 2 Twilight Princess
When Ryan woke up he found himself in a weird place. It was like a dungeon only it was an endless twilight! There was creepy imp-like thing in front of his cell. Suddenly he realized that he was lower to the ground than usual. He looked down at his feet,they weren't feet anymore they were paws! He had been changed into a wolf. The creepy imp(Ryan soon realized it was a girl creepy imp-like thing)started to laugh,she said, “well if it isn't the one I'm looking for,the hero.”Ryan couldn't say anything so all he did was growl and snarl at her.
“I'm not going to help you if you aren't going to be a good doggie.”she teased. Ryan obediently stopped snarling and growling,the imp started talking again, only this time she approached him,”You humans are so obedient to a fault aren't you...Oops i shouldn't say that,you're not a human anymore,”she said batting him under the chin, “you're a beast.” Then she continued, “listen I'll get you outta' here on one condition,you have to do EVERYTHING I say,got it?!? Ryan knew she was obviously telling him and not giving him any choice. So he agreed to go along with her. They climbed about the dungeon,which Ryan soon figured out was Hyrule Castle,he remembered it from one of Talo and Malo's Storybooks about the Hero Of Time. Ryan wished he could meet him someday....Anyway Ryan learned how to hone his senses so he could see things that you normally wouldn't see with the naked eye. He could see spirits of guards cowering in corners,(they sounded much braver in storybooks....)what wimps. Soon they were climbing a staircase,the imp had said there was someone she wanted him to meet. When they arrived at the top Ryan pushed the door open. Its rusted old hinges creaked as it opened,causing Ryan to flinch. He walked through a room towards the window. Just before he got to the window he spied a picture. It was of a blond man,who wore a green tunic and big brown boots, a blond woman with long hair and a beautiful pink dress,and a baby boy with brown hair, strangely the same color as Ryan's.
“Welcome....”a soft voice could be heard from near the window. Ryan's attention averted from the photo. His eyes came to rest on the same blonde woman from the photo. Ryan growled,he was all riled up because of that familiar photo. She waited for Ryan to calm himself,which took him a minute,but eventually he calmed down. “Midna,the shadow beasts have been looking all over for you,and this wolf,why is this?”asked the woman,whom Ryan soon discovered was Princess Zelda.
“Zelda,”replied Midna, “I have no idea...Twilight Princess...eheeeheeehee!”
Anyway...you and you're friend should go now because time has grown short and the guard will be coming very soon.”
Midna,using her dark powers,warped Ryan back to Ordon.
Chapter 3 Thief
Ryan(still in wolf form) and Midna snuck into Ordon Village unnoticed. But when they got to Ryan's house there were several monsters there waiting in ambush. Ryan bit and tore at them until they finally were felled.
“OK , before you can go anywhere you WILL HAVE to get ME a sword and shield that suits me!OK GOT IT???!”said Midna
Ryan again knew he had no choice but to agree. They entered Ordon and immediately saw Bo and Jaggle(Malo and Talo's dad)talking. Ryan and Midna snuck up on them and listened.
Bo: “How are we supposed to get rid of the monsters and find the kids?
Jaggle: “Sssshhh!not so loud!
Bo: “Oh right........”
Ryan and Midna snuck closer until they could finally hear what was being said.
Bo: “So where's the shield being kept again?”
Jaggle: “in my house, and Rusl's got the sword on his sofa.”
Bo: “Do you reckon that he'll get better 'cause those monsters sure took a chunk outta 'im.”
Jaggle: “I hope so.....AHHHHHHH!”
Bo and Jaggle turned to face Tyan and Midna. Then they both took off as fast as they could.
“What idiots,said Midna, “Leaving a window open for us took get into the house with!Sheesh!”
Midna using her dark power enabled Ryan to jump great distances,enabling Ryan to jump up to where the open shaft was. When Ryan entered the house he figured out right away where the shield was. Its was hanging up on the wall,past a huge ledge,witch was impossible to get up as a wolf with the ladder,so he used Midna's Super Jump instead. After acquiring the shield, he jumped out the window and landed in the water causing a HUGE splash. Rusl heard the splash and started patrolling again despite his wounds. Ryan had to sneak by him to get to his house. But he saw Uli in time to avoid her gaze and slip behind the house where he found some soft soil. He dug a tunnel witch gave him access to the inside of Rusl and Uli's house,where he found the sword he was looking for. He exited the house, and immediately Midna told him off. The first thing she said was, “OK so maybe these things are too big for me so i'll hold on to them for you.” She decomposed them with a flick of her finger.
“So you have to go to the Twilight in Faron Woods. Ryan knew he had no choice. So that's where they went. But on they're way there a voice called to them, “Come this way.....Hero's descendant....Son of the Hero.”
Link wondered if that voice was talking to him, but he followed it anyway. The voice then said “They come.......the shadow beasts,to take my light,like they have done to my brethren in Kakaricko and Faron woods. Beware....” Then huge a Shadow beast approached Ryan and Midna. Ryan quickly killed it. “Thank you Brave one.....Please go rescue my brethren in Kakaricko and The Faron Woods.”
Chapter 4 Getting Rid Of The Twilight
Ryan and Midna entered the Twilight just near the Faron Woods. Soon after they were attacked by three shadow beasts. Ryan tried Again and Again, but each time the one that was left would just scream and the other two would come back to life. Finally Midna had grown impatient and told Ryan to hold a stance and she would expand an Energy Field allowing Ryan to attack multiple enemies at once. Ryan tried the Energy Field and finally they defeated the monsters. As the monsters decomposed a portal formed in the sky above their heads.
“You better not forget what that is,” Midna said, “its called a warp point,using my power i can warp you back here when you're a wolf, but only when you're a wolf.
Then they found the Light Spirit,Faron. It told them where its light was,in the form of gross insects.
They received The Vessel Of Light.
......
Once Ryan had acquired all of the tears of Light and filled the vessel light returned to The Faron Woods.
Faron then showed itself. It was a big lemur like creature but with a huge point at the end of it's tail.
Then it told Ryan to look at his awakened form. Ryan looked and soon discovered he was wearing a green tunic, brown boots,riding gloves,a wrist guard too keep his wrist from breaking if he feel off his horse and for shooting arrows,and white leggings. And not to forget the long pointed green hat.
Then Faron disappeared. Midna appeared.
“Well,well,well, so Mr. Important Hero, What are you going to do? Well maybe you're friends are in the Forest Temple, and there's something in that Temple that I want and need. Its called a Fused Shadow,they say if someone who lives in the world of light touches a Fused Shadow its will take possession of their body,mind and soul. Well anyway will you help me?”
“Sure.” was all Ryan could say.
Chapter 5 The Forest Temple
Ryan entered the Forest Temple with a twinge of unease.Link could feel the evil Power emanating from all over the Temple. He zigzagged through the Temple only stopping at times to catch his breath or defeat a monster or two.
Meanwhile.....
A taller and much more muscular man breezed through the Temple,with ease, toward the Boss door, Gale Boomerang in hand. He decided to stop and rest his legs for the Boss battle that awaited him,he too was after the Fused Shadow....
Back with Ryan....
Ryan ran toward the Boss door,the key was missing and so was the dungeon item,which he needed to defeat the Boss and get The Fused Shadow. He saw the boss door was already open. He ran through. As soon as he entered the room he saw..... NOTHING no Fused Shadow nothing. Disappointment flooded Ryan like a mad river.
“What!?”Midna was outraged, “It was supposed to be here,but since it's not here let me warp you out.”
Chapter 6 Fateful Encounter
“Well, let's go to the Twilight near Kakaricko Village.”suggested Midna.
“Ok...” was all Ryan could say.
After they exited The Faron Woods they found themselves in Hyrule Field, which Ryan had never been to before.
Ryan didn't spend much time exploring since he knew he would be coming out here a lot. Of course he was much slower a human than a wolf so it took him double the time it would have taken him as a wolf. Plus he had just gotten used to four legs when all of a sudden he was on two again.
“OK, so maybe we missed the first Fused Shadow but hey, there's still the other two.” said Midna half-heartedly. They were just about to reach the Twilight when suddenly out of nowhere there came a howl as smooth as silk. It was a tune that Ryan vaguely remembered. Then suddenly he heard wings flapping. He looked up and saw the Golden Beast he had seen before he had been taken to Hyrule Castl..... He didn't have any time to think. The Beast land on the ground then attacked him,knocking him over like a bowling pin. The Beast stood there with its two front paws on his chest and spoke, “Young one ( it pronounced it like Youngun) It is Dangerous in the Twilight, and after the Twilight's removal it will be even harder,take this.” The Beast raised its head and howled ancient words in which Ryan couldn't understand...(but who cares right this next part is important sooooo...) A sword much bigger than the Ordon sword that Ryan had been using before appeared. The Golden Beast then took Ryan's Ordon sword and shattered it in tis jaws.
“Why did you do that?”Ryan asked.But the
Beast was already gone in a gust of wind. There were words engraved in the
blade of the sword it said, “Biggeron's Sword,gifted to the Hero who will save
us all.1894.”
“Wow,”said Midna, “what an old and i mean OLD sword,that was 16 years ago it
was given to this “Hero”.”
“Ya...”said Ryan
